Dangote Oil Refinery said it has registered three prominent associations of petroleum products marketers for the distribution of its products.
Dangote confirmed this development on Tuesday in a press statement on its X handle.
According to the organisation, the three prominent associations which were recently registered constitute 75 percent of the total market in Nigeria.
“These are the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN), the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, (IPMAN), and the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, (MOMAN),” Dangote stated.
Dangote added that it is also considering other petroleum products marketers that have signified interest.
Meanwhile, Dangote Petroleum Refinery earlier in January 2024 commenced production of diesel and aviation fuel.
President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support and encouragement towards the actualisation of the project.
