On the 23rd of February 2021, 571 new confirmed cases and 12 deaths were recorded in Nigeria

Till date, 153187 cases have been confirmed, 129943 cases have been discharged and 1874 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 571 new cases are reported from 21 states- Lagos (170), Ogun (65), FCT (45), Kwara (34), Abia (32), Enugu (32), Kano (25), Oyo (22), Ondo (21), Rivers (19), Kaduna (19), Benue (18), Bayelsa (12), Kebbi (12), Nasarawa (11), Akwa Ibom (9), Delta (8), Ekiti (6), Niger (5), Bauchi (3) and Imo (3)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities
