Till date, 195052 cases have been confirmed, 182463 cases have been discharged and 2522 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 964 new cases are reported from 20 states- Lagos (456), Ondo (180), Edo (66), Rivers (62), Niger (26), Akwa Ibom (25), Ekiti (22), Kwara (22), Oyo (22), Kaduna (17), Delta (14), Benue (12), Gombe (9), Plateau (9), FCT (8), Jigawa (5), Ogun (4), Bayelsa (2), Nasarawa (2), and Bauchi (1)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
