On the 27th of December 2021, 859 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria

Till date, 238420 cases have been confirmed, 212770 cases have been discharged and 3024 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 859 new cases are reported from 14 States – Lagos (555), FCT (57), Rivers (44), Plateau (43), Edo (41), Ondo (34), Kwara (23), Kano (18), Ogun (16), Enugu (11), Oyo (6), Delta (5), Bauchi (3), and Bayelsa (3)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
