Till date, 253970 cases have been confirmed, 230317 cases have been discharged and 3140 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 47 new cases are reported from 9 States – Lagos (22), FCT (5), Kwara (5), Osun (5), Delta (3), Kaduna (3), Jigawa (2), Nasarawa (1) and Rivers (1)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
