On the 13th of October 2021, 251 new confirmed cases and 5 death were recorded in Nigeria

Till date, 208404 cases have been confirmed, 196123 cases have been discharged and 2761 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 251 new cases are reported from 14 states- FCT (78), Lagos (46), Kaduna (27), Rivers (21), Imo (16), Edo (13), Delta (12), Plateau (10), Niger (7), Bauchi (6), Kwara (6), Akwa Ibom (4), Benue (3) and Nasarawa (2)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
