On the 26th of December 2021, 1547 new confirmed cases and 8 deaths were recorded in Nigeria

Till date, 237561 cases have been confirmed, 212550 cases have been discharged and 3022 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 1547 new cases are reported from 10 States – FCT (806), Lagos (401), Borno (166), Oyo (78), Ogun (47), Osun (30), Ekiti (7), Katsina (7), Kano (4) and Jigawa (1)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
