On the 24th of December 2021, 1356 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria
Till date, 234709 cases have been confirmed, 212237 cases have been discharged and 2993 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
The 1356 new cases are reported from 12 States – Lagos (822), Rivers (119), Kwara (107), FCT (103), Edo (97), Kano (29), Imo (25), Delta (19), Plateau (14), Borno (10), Gombe (8) and Bauchi (3)
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
