On the 29th of December 2021, 1,355 new confirmed cases and 1 death were recorded in Nigeria

Till date, 240374 cases have been confirmed, 213491 cases have been discharged and 3028 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 1355 new cases are reported from 10 States -Lagos (1,036), Nasarawa (92), Delta (58), FCT (57), Edo (44), Rivers (25), Kano (23), Enugu (11), Plateau (6), and Bayelsa (3)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
