On the 21st of August 2021, 1064 new confirmed cases and 13 deaths were recorded in Nigeria
Till date, 186635 cases have been confirmed, 168320 cases have been discharged and 2260 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
The 1064 new cases are reported from 10 states- Lagos (776), Rivers (143), Ekiti (49), Kwara (33) Ogun (21), Benue (18), Oyo (13), FCT (5), Osun (4) and Yobe (2)
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
