Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, to prosecute the Group Managing Director of Re Care and Eunisell Limited, Chika Ikenga, and one Suraj Yakubu over alleged offences of forgery, false information and impersonation.
Others affected by the order of mandamus are DIG Michael Anthony Ogbizi (FCID) and DCP Augustine Sanomi (CP Legal).
Specifically, the court compelled the IGP to re-file the charge and prosecute the defendants for the said offences as contained in charge marked CR/361/18 between IGP and Chika Ikenga, Suraj Yakubu and Eunisell Chemicals Limited, which was filed on October 5, 2018 and withdrawn on February 26, 2019.
In addition, Justice Taiwo ordered that re-filing of the charge and prosecution of the defendants shall be carried out within 14 days by the IGP on the receipt of the enrolled order
