Consistent with her commitment to promoting grassroots governance and quality educational support, Hon. (Mrs) Khadijah K. Dosunmu, the Deputy Leader of Onigbongbo Legislative Council and Councillor representing Ward E-Oregun and Deputy Leader of Onigbongbo Legislative Arm, distributed free school materials to students in her constituency on September 5, 2025, at Olarenwaju street, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos. 
This initiative, which involves a partnership with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), aims to educate children on the value of education and the dangers of drug abuse, referred to as “War Against Drug Abuse”.
The initiative aims to provide essential educational resources, including school bags, books, uniforms, sandals, water bottles, stationery, and more, to support disadvantaged students.
Hon Khadijah K. Dosunmu commitment to inclusive governance was evident in the attendance of Hon. Francis Nkwo, Leader of Onigbongbo Legislative Council, Alhaja Iyabode Akerele, Chairperson of the APC, Onigbongbo LCDA, Alhaji Kehinde Onifade, former party Chairman, and other prominent party leaders, including Hon. Abolade Rufai, LGA Secretary, Elder Godwin Ereme, CDC Chairman, Hon. Ibikunle Oluwo, CDA Chairman, Mr. Yemi Davies, and Mrs. Bisola Bakare, Women Leader, Oregun, among others.
In her address to the gathering, the deputy leader, Hon Dosunmu, warmly welcomed the children and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the attendees.
She reiterated her commitment to supporting the educational advancement of the children, underscoring that her leadership would be distinguished by visionary action, deep-seated compassion, and results-driven initiatives.
The legislative arm of Onigbongbo LCDA, under the leadership of Hon. Francis Nkwo, and comprising Hon. David Orukpe, Hon. Folu Omotesho, and Hon. Lekan Ige, also lent their support to this forward-thinking initiative.
The event was a vibrant celebration, marked by prayers, excitement, and applause, and was attended by a diverse group of stakeholders, including members of the YKK campaign team, party leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and loyalists of Onigbongbo LCDA APC.
