Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday visited the secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Acme, Ogba as the party prepares for the primaries to elect candidates for the forthcoming Local Government Election in the state.

The primary election holds on Saturday at the party secretariat.

The Governor said the visit to the party secretariat became imperative in view of the need to connect with leaders and members directly, and most importantly “to reaffirm our shared commitment to a process that is peaceful, transparent, and fully aligned with the guidelines set by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).”

In a post on his social media handle, the Governor said: “Our party has a strong legacy of progress and responsible leadership, and I have no doubt that we are poised for another resounding victory in the upcoming council elections.

“I’m also deeply appreciative of the work done so far by the APC Electoral Committee and our party executives in preparing for this exercise. Together, we can uphold the trust our people have placed in us and continue to lead with purpose and integrity.”
