The Former Ward Chairmen Forum of the Progressive Party in Ikeja Federal Constituency congratulated Comrade Akeem Olamilekan Dauda, also known as AKOD, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress Chairmanship Candidate for Ikeja Local Government Council in the forthcoming July 12th Lagos Local Government Election.
Comrade Dauda, a former Ward Chairman for Ward D in the Anifowoshe area of Ikeja, secured the party’s primary ticket with all 25 delegate votes following a consensus announced by the LGA Chairman, Mayegun Dally Adeokun.
The Lagos APC conducted its primaries at the party’s Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja, resulting in the emergence of 55 chairmanship candidates for the July 12 Local Government election in Lagos State.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, Comrade Tayo Aderinola, Coordinator for Former Ward Chairmen Forum, extended his congratulations to Comrade Dauda, Secretary of Ikeja Local Government and Chairman, Conference of Secretaries of Local Governments in Lagos State.
