Coronavirus: Nigeria records 490 cases toll now 17,148 as at Tuesday

NCDC Update as at 16th June, 2020

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 490 new cases of COVID-19.

This brings the total confirmed cases to 17,148 in the Africa’s most populous nation.

The new figure shows that Lagos leads with 142 cases, FCT-60, Bayelsa-54, Rivers-39, Delta-37, Oyo-30, and  Kaduna-26.

Others are Imo-23, Enugu-19, Kwara-17, Gombe-11, Ondo-10, Bauchi-8, Ogun-7, Borno-6 and Benue-1.

A total of 5,623 patients have been successfully managed and discharged while 455 deaths have been recorded.
