Coronavirus Lockdown: Julius Oloro distributes second round of food palliative to indigents, widows in Ojodu LCDA

In a bid to further ameliorate the ravaging effect of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the standard of living of residents in all communities within Ojodu LCDA in  Lagos State, Hon. (Engr.) Julius Olumuyiwa Oloro, the Executive Chairman Ojodu LCDA on Saturday distributed food stimulus packages to support another set of beneficiaries in the second round of food palliative stimulus.

The event started with a press briefing at the Cardinal James Odumbaku hall and later items were dispatched to all the six wards of the LCDA.

The beneficiaries in the second edition of the food stimulus program were carefully selected from the general masses based on Community Development Associations (CDA), Artisans (organized sectors), Non-Indigenes and party stewards.

The Executive Chairman who in the first batch provided 2,000 beneficiaries with 1,000 Packs of Rice and 2,000 loaves of family-size breads has again distributed another batch of 3,000 Food Stimulus Packages to beneficiaries across all the wards of the LCDA and CDAs.

The distribution was purposefully targeted at indigents and elderly citizens, widows and other vulnerable citizens residing in communities within Ojodu LCDA.

Thereafter the Executive Chairman of Ojodu, CDC Chairman, Emergency Response Committee and others on his entourage embarked on a ward tour to meet Ward Chairmen and CDA chairmen who took delivery of the Food Stimulus packages at their respective wards.
