Coronavirus: Lagos discharges 9 more recovered patients – Gov Sanwo olu

The Lagos Incident Commander on the COVID-19 Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Tuesday disclosed that 9 more persons have been discharged from the isolation centre after they recovered from the coronavirus.

This was disclosed through a release signed by the Lagos Incident Commander and forwarded to Lagos Panorama.

Mr Sanwo-Olu stated that “I have more great news from our isolation facilities. 9 more persons; 5 females and 4 males including 1 foreign national – a polish, have been discharged to join the society”.

“The patients; 5 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 4 from Onikan Isolation centre were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19”.

“With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our facilities is now 107” he averred.

He also noted that “as our front line health workers records successes in the battle against #COVID19, we urge citizens to safe at home, practice Social distancing and adopt highest possible personal and hand hygiene. This is the only way we can break the chain of transmission of the infection”.

“Thank you all for your continued perseverance and patience” concluded.
