Coronavirus: Lagos Discharges 31 Recovered Patients on Sunday

COVID-19 Update by the Incident Commander, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, June 3, 2020.

The Incident Commander and Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced that 20 patients were discharged on Wednesday after recovering from the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The announcement was made through a press release signed by the governor and sent to Lagos Panorama by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary Gboyega Akosile.

Full text of the release read:

Good people of Lagos,

Today, 20 COVID19 Lagos patients; 14 males and 6 females, all Nigerians were discharged from our Gbagada, Eti-Osa (LandMark) and Agidingbi Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

The patients, 11 from Gbagada, 8 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) and 1 from Agidingbi Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19.

With this, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos is now 928.
