
The Lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA), Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK) on Thursday 6th January 2023, called on the residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency who are yet to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to go and do so immediately, stating that this will enable them to exercise their full franchise as citizens and vote massively for credible leaders such as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all the All Progressives Congress, (APC) candidates in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Hon. Kasunmu in a chat with Lagos Panorama at the APC Ikeja Federal Constituency Walk-Through rally, on Friday afternoon, the ranking State Assembly Lawmaker, who stood in for other Candidates at the street-to-streets grassroots campaign, assured all that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Dr. Idiat Adebule, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke and other APC candidates including his humble self will deliver excellent dividends of democracy if elected/re-elected at the polls come February and March.

Other prominent leaders such as Executive Chairman, Ikeja LGA Council, Engr. Engr Mojeed Alabi Balogun and the Chairman, APC LGA Chairmen for Lagos State/ Ikeja APC Chairman, Alhaji Adekunle Dally-Adeokun also urged Constituents to shun primordial sentiments and come out massively to cast their votes for the candidates of APC from Presidential to other offices in order to engender a better, well-secured and prosperous nation and state at all levels.

The leaders enumerated the achievements of the APC Government at the Federal, State and other levels, including nationwide infrastructural development, massive job creation, improved security and others, promising more will be done if APC is voted to power at all levels this year.


The innovative Walk-Through Rally was initiated by the APC Ikeja LGA, under the Chairmanship of Alh. Adekunle Dally-Adeokun, to canvass for support for the party’s candidates across board.
The first phase occurred shortly before Yuletide while the second phase commenced on Thursday.


Starting off from Bisi Ogabi street T-junction in the heart of Ikeja (state) ward B, participants moved through the major streets of the Ward, engaging residents and creating awareness amidst dancing and excitement.

The rally in Ikeja Ward B, yesterday was quite symbolic being the ward of the late political amazon and leader, Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson.
Engr. Mojeed Balogun, Alhaja Bukky Ogun, Chief Mrs Modupe Olaiya, Engr. Abiodun Taiwo and many other Leaders also hail from the Ward.
