Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku visits corporate stakeholders

In a bid to foster cordial and harmonious relationship, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku embarked on a courtesy visit to several companies and corporate stakeholders within the Council.

As inclusiveness and open-door policies have been the modus operandi of the present administration, the Mayor noted the expediency of such visit which ensures appropriate synergy for the growth and development of the LCDA as well as the companies.

The visitation was part of several activities lined-up in commemoration of the Odunmbaku’s One-Year-in-Office ceremony.

At the inception of his administration, Odunmbaku held a ‘tete-a-tete’ with the captains of industry in order to lay a formidable template for progress.

While conveying his appreciation for the courtesy visit, the General Manager Lagos State Public Works Corporation Engr. Lateef Ayodele Somide eulogized the Mayor for his commitments towards the development of Ojodu LCDA and also expressed his readiness to intensify rehabilitation works on all the major roads within Ojodu and its environs.

“Having in mind the peculiarity of Ojodu LCDA and its proximity to the State Secretariat, we are working around the clock to ensure all our roads are motorable at all times with zero-tolerance for potholes” Somide said.

The familiarization tour was also extended to private companies such as Elizade Motors, WAHUM and Niger Bev where the Executive Chairman highlighted his plans and intentions for the corporate entities within Ojodu LCDA.

“As a government, we are duty-bound to ensure cordial relationship with all and sundry. We are not always after what we can get, but what we can also give to impact the lives and businesses of the people. Considering the aftermath of COVID-19 and present economic realities, our administration is concerned on carving a way forward and surmounting the teeming challenges.

“So, we are here to put a face to governance and our doors are always opened to progressive initiatives and productive engagement” Odunmbaku expressed.

In the train for the visit were the Chief of Staff Mr. Adedapo Adeoye, Asst. Director, Public Affairs Mrs Bukola Bankole, Legal Officer Olorunlogbon Funmi, Head Corporate Unit Awonusi Olusina, Mr. Kore Brown and the media team.
