Presents account of Stewardship in Health Sector.
The Executive Chairman Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh seized the opportunity presented to him as the Chairman of the occasion to present to his score card of accomplishment in the health sector.
The event which had in attendance the Chairman of Health Service Commission, Dr. Atinuke Onayiga and Permanent Secretary, Dr. Benjamin Ademuyiwa took place at Rockview Hotel, Festac with Dr. Okadapo Soyinka the MD of Amuwo-Odofin Mother and Child maternity as Host.
While delivering his speech, the Council Chairman listed the achievements in the health sector under his administration to include, the near completion of the Ultramodern Primary Health Center, the rehabilitation of all PHCs, medical missions. He also promised to continue to give primary Health care the neccessary attention it deserves.
Other dignitaries also made contributions. After the Host, Dr. Soyinka had recounted the activities of the AOMCC in the last one year. In his summation he was grateful to God, that the center is yet to conceed any loss of life during it’s proceedings since the begining of the year.
Participants drawn from stakeholders within the local government were also given room to make contributions and testimonials.
