Buhari imposes 14-day curfew on Lagos, Ogun States and FCT

President Muhammadu Buhari announced on Sunday a 14-day curfew on Lagos and Ogun States, as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with effect from 11pm on Monday.

He made the announcement on Sunday, in his much awaited broadcast to Nigerians.

He said the local authorities have been informed about the measure.

The president, in a nationwide broadcast said the decision was taken based on the advice of the Federal Ministry of Health and the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
