Breaking: CBN revokes operating licence of Skye Bank Plc

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN on Friday said it has revoked the operating licence of Skye Bank Plc with immediate effect.

CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, disclosed this at a news conference in Lagos.

Emefiele stated that Skye Bank would now be taken over by Polaris Bank, which would take over all the assets and liabilities of the defunct entity.
