Bolowotan expresses shock over Senator Osinowo’s death

The Director General of Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr Toyin Gafar Bolowotan has expressed shock over the death of Senator Bayo Sikiru Osinowo who died yesterday after a brief illness.

Osinowo who represents Lagos East Senatorial District died at the age of 64years.
Bolowotan on his social media page described late Osinowo as a unique person especially from his days in the Lagos State House of Assembly.


He stated that “With a heavy heart,I joined well meaning Nigeria especially those from Lagos East Senatorial district in mourning the death of our brother, father, leader and Senator Bayo Osinowo on his sad demise.


“Osinowo popularly known as peperito meant different things to different people but one cannot over emphasize his unique leadership qualities especially from his days in the Lagos Assembly.

“He was ‘The unifier’, May the Almighty God gives him eternal rest amongst his faithfuls” he prayed.
