The Suspended Police Officer, Assistant Superintendent Of Police Drambi Vandi has been found guilty of the Christmas day killing of Lagos property Lawyer, Omobolanle Raheem.
The Lagos State High Court sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square found him guilty and was sentenced to death by hanging.
It will be recalled that the accused reportedly shot at a vehicle occupied by the late Omobolanle Raheem on Christmas day in 2022 with no apparent reason at a Police checkpoint.
The death generated uproar with many calling for his trial as a message that Police Brutality and Extra Judicial killing will no longer be tolerated.
