Bamgbose-Martins Replaces Salako as Lagos Commissioner for Physical Planning

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the redeployment of Engineer Tayo Bamgbose-Martins to the state Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development as Commissioner following the resignation of Dr Idris Salako.

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the redeployment of Engineer Tayo Bamgbose-Martins to the state Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development as Commissioner following the resignation of Dr Idris Salako.

Salako had tendered his resignation on Monday, 5 September, 2022 in the wake of the collapse of the uncompleted 7-storey building at Lekki in which seven people died.

The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, announced the appointment of Bamgbose-Martins on Wednesday, 7 September, 2022 in Lagos.

Until his new appointment, Bamgbose-Martins was the state Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Relations.
