The All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved the composition of sub-committees for its 2026 National Convention, marking a significant step in preparations for the party’s flagship decision-making gathering.
In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party said the sub-committees have been constituted to ensure a transparent, credible and hitch-free convention.
According to the statement, the committees are mandated to coordinate key operational, administrative, electoral, logistics, security and programme activities required for the seamless conduct of the convention.
The party called on members of the various committees to discharge their responsibilities with diligence and in strict adherence to the APC Constitution and approved guidelines.
Reaffirming its commitment to internal democracy, the APC assured members, stakeholders and the general public that the 2026 National Convention would be conducted in a credible and transparent manner, further strengthening the party’s structures and consolidating its progressive ideals.
