The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State has urged residents to rededicate themselves to living in peace and oneness with one another regardless of religious beliefs or political leaning.
Chairman of the party, Chief Sir Basil Ejidike, who stated this in his Easter message, said such virtues were sure ways to overcome the nation’s present challenges.
He also urged Nigerians to remain confident and optimistic in the ability and capacity of President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice-President Elect, Kashim Shettima to turn things around for the better.
He said: “I join my fellow Christian Brethren in Anambra State, Nigeria and around the world to mark this year’s Easter Celebration; which commemorates the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“As we celebrate this year’s Easter therefore, I urge all party members in the state and Ndi Anambra generally to rededicate themselves to living in peace and oneness with other members of their communities; no matter their religious belief or political leaning.
