The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced that its National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings will hold on Monday, 15 December 2025, and Tuesday, 16 December 2025, respectively, at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, FCT.
The announcement was made public in an official notice signed by the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, and shared on the party’s website on Wednesday.
The National Caucus meeting is scheduled to commence at 6:00 PM on Monday. As one of the party’s principal organs under Article 11 of the APC Constitution, the caucus brings together senior stakeholders, including the National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen (North and South), National Secretary, Deputy National Secretary, National Legal Adviser, National Treasurer, National Organising Secretary, National Woman and Youth Leaders, National Leader of Persons Living with Disabilities, past and present Presidents and Vice Presidents who are party members, presidential and vice-presidential candidates, former and current Senate and House leaders, serving and former Governors, state party chairmen, former National Chairmen and Secretaries, zonal chairmen, and other designated representatives.
“All Members of the National Caucus are by this invitation to take notice of the meeting in accordance with Article 11.5 of the Constitution,” the notice stated.
The NEC meeting is slated for 12:00 PM on Tuesday, 16 December 2025. Recognized under Article 13.1 of the APC Constitution, the NEC comprises the National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen, National Secretary, Deputy National Secretary, National Legal Adviser and Deputy, National Treasurer and Deputy, National Organising Secretary and Deputy, National Financial Secretary, National Publicity Secretary, National Auditor and Deputy, Deputy Welfare Secretary, National Woman and Youth Leaders and Deputies, state chairmen, zonal representatives, and members elected by the National Convention.
“All Members of the National Executive Committee are by this invitation to take notice of the meeting in accordance with Article 12.3 of the APC Constitution,” the notice added.
The party emphasized that both meetings will focus on key strategic, organizational, and policy matters affecting the APC ahead of ongoing national political activities.
