APC ready for presidential primary – Gov. Akeredolu

Rotimi Akeredolu, Ondo State Governor and Chairman, sub-committee on Security and compliance for the All Progressives Congress (APC) special convention for Presidential Primary, on Friday assured that the party will have a hitch-free primary election.

Akeredolu stated this on Friday as he visited Eagle Square, the venue of the primary election.

He visited the venue in the company of the co-chairman of the committee, Gen Abdulrahman Danbazau (Rtd) to assess the level of preparedness ahead of the primary election.

The Governor noted that the party is ready for the election, stressing that work has already commenced on the venue, security, and other necessary activities.

Governor Akeredolu said the APC, being a disciplined political party with disciplined members, would surely have a hitch-free primary.

“This is not our first time using this Eagle Square. We have knowledge of the venue already. No doubt, we are ready. We have already started working on the venue, on security and everything. So, We are ready. I think we are good to go.

“The APC is a disciplined party. We are going to have a hitch-free primary. We are a disciplined party and our members will show discipline here on the d-day.” he said.
