APC Leaders Endorse Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun as Ogun Deputy Governorship Candidate

Governor Dapo Abiodun has announced the formal presentation and endorsement of Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.

Governor Dapo Abiodun has announced the formal presentation and endorsement of Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.

Speaking during a stakeholders’ meeting, Governor Abiodun described Mrs. Adegunwa-Balogun as a distinguished professional, accomplished corporate executive, and a committed progressive whose family has made significant contributions to the growth and development of the APC over the years.

According to the governor, party leaders, stakeholders, and members overwhelmingly endorsed her candidacy through a unanimous voice vote, reflecting their confidence in her competence, character, and leadership capacity.

Following the endorsement, Mrs. Adegunwa-Balogun was formally presented alongside the APC governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), by the party leadership.

Governor Abiodun stated that the Adeola–Adegunwa-Balogun ticket represents a formidable blend of experience, excellence, inclusiveness, and a shared commitment to advancing Ogun State’s development.

He congratulated Mrs. Adegunwa-Balogun on her emergence and expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory at the polls, enabling the party to continue its vision of building a more prosperous and inclusive Ogun State.
