The Executive Chairman Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon Oladotun Olakanle has emerged as the consensus candidate for the All-Progressives Congress for the chairmanship of Onigbongbo LCDA in the Lagos Council Elections scheduled for July by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).

The Council boss was endorsed by the leadership of the party to continue after acting in that capacity after the death of the former Chairman, late Hon Babatunde Oke who passed on in August 2020.

“The arrangement by my rating, Onigbongbo primary election was one of the best looking at the record time spent to finish the entire exercise” he alluded.
“I am immensely grateful to the family, friends and loyal supporters who so generously contributed their time and effort.
“I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence from all party leaders and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am immensely grateful to the family, friends and loyal supporters who so generously contributed their time and effort to our campaign during this time” concluded the Chairman with the ‘Tantolohun’ mantra.
