On Thursday the All Progressives Congress Ikeja Chapter celebrates the party’s victory in the recently conducted general election. 
The LGA chairman ALH Dally Adeokun commended all party members in the 6 wards for their support and commitment in ensuring victory of the party in the just concluded general elections.
He also appreciated the party leadership in Ikeja LGA led by Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson and the party’s wards and LGA executive officers. He noted that “Ikeja scored 11th position out the 20 LGA In Lagos state based on the result of the Governorship and House of Assembly elections” the erstwhile Council Executive Secretary highlighted. 
Adeokun specially thanked Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson, Hon Adedamola Kasunmu and the Executive Chairman of Ikeja local government Hon Mojeed Balogun and his team for their financial contribution towards the victory party.
Some notable leaders that graced the victory party includes Mayor Alani Okikioposu, Comrade A. B Dania, Hon Debo Olasoji, Dr Bode Tawak, Alhaja Ogun and a host of others.
The LGA Chairman extend greetings from Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson and Chief Funso Ologunde, “both of whom are presently in Abuja to felicitate with our great national leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 67th birthday”.
The turnout of members at the victory party was quite impressive as there were lot to drink and eat with the Disc jockey (DJ) dishing out some sweet music to the delight of leaders and members present at the meeting.
