The All Progressives Congress (APC) has clarified the official identity of the party ahead of the commencement of its campaign activities, stressing that its official logo is square-shaped, not circular.
The clarification comes as political parties prepare for the 2027 general elections, with the campaign period for the Presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled to commence on August 19, 2026.
The APC made the clarification in a statement published on its official Facebook page on Saturday under the heading, “FOR THE RECORD.”
The party stated:
“The official logo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is SQUARE, not circular.”
The APC urged members, supporters, designers, media practitioners and other stakeholders involved in producing or sharing party materials to ensure that the party’s identity is represented accurately and consistently.
According to the party, while the broom remains the enduring symbol of the APC, the square remains the official shape of its logo.
“Please use the correct APC logo,” the party emphasised, accompanying the message with a check-mark emoji.
The clarification is particularly timely as the party and its supporters gear up for increased campaign and mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
The APC concluded its message with its familiar slogan:
“APC… Progress!”
