The All Progressives Congress Ikeja Campaign LOC, under Maiyegun Dally Adeokun’s leadership, concluded its Ward rally in support of Chairmanship candidate Hon Akeem Olalekan Dauda, AKOD and Vice Chairmanship candidate Hon Abisola Omisore, OMITUNTUN, culminating in the formal presentation of the Ward’s Councillorship Candidate, Hon Ganiyu Lawal, and a final event at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Ikeja residence on Sunday Adigun Street, following a comprehensive rally across Ward F in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos on Monday, 7th July 2025.
The APC Ikeja sixth and final Ward rally campaign commenced with an interactive session, where the Chairman and his Vice engaged with the youths and other stakeholders on Adeboye Solanke Street, off Allen Avenue, Ikeja.
The former Secretary to the Ikeja Local Government leveraged the session to outline his IKEJA Agenda, emphasizing benefits to the youths and other residents of Ikeja Local Government, including entrepreneurship opportunities, the establishment of the Ikeja Sports Commission, sustainable infrastructural development, and several other initiatives.
Following its initial stage, the rally continued through Adeboye Solanke Street and Aina Street, emerging onto Awolowo Way. It subsequently entered the Alausa community’s indigenous area via Jogunosinmi Street and Makinde Street, briefly stopping at the residence of the late Mayor Alani Okikiposu, pioneer Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, on Makinde street, Alausa, Ikeja.
The rally subsequently backtracked to Awolowo Way, proceeding to MKO Garden for another interactive session, hosted by the Estate Executives for the APC Ikeja LOC, featuring Chairmanship candidate Comrade Dauda and his vice, Hon Omisore with the Councilorship candidate, Hon Ganiyu Lawal.
Additionally, Hon Dauda presented the IKEJA Agenda to the excited Executives and other residents of the MKO Abiola Estate, who expressed their gratitude to the chairmanship candidate and his Vice, Hon Omisore, acknowledging him as one of their own and pledging to hold him accountable for the administration, committing to mobilize other residents to ensure significant votes for all APC candidates in the Lagos Local Government Election scheduled for Saturday, 12 July 2025.
The rally later proceeded to Alausa police Barrack, From Barrack, move down to Oshin Street, to link out to Kudirat Abiola Way.m, From there, they linked Kadiri Street and then walk through to the end point on No 10 Sunday Adigun Street, the Ikeja home of President Bola Tinubu where his daughter and Iyaloja General, Chief Mrs Folashade Tinubu Ojo, who was on ground to welcome the candidates and APC Ikeja Campaign LOC team led by the Chairman of the 57 LGA Chairmen of the APC in Lagos State, Maiyegun Dally Adeokun
Maiyegun Adeokun formally presented the Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship candidates, alongside the Ward F Councillorship candidate, Hon Ganiyu Lawal.
The Iyaloja General expressed her pleasure at the visit and urged market men and women statewide to support all APC candidates, fostering synergy among the three tiers of government.
She advised parents to encourage eligible children to vote, rather than playing football during the voting period.
Comrade Dauda observed that the APC Ikeja final Ward rally in the ward and residence of the President is symbolic and a testament to the National Leader.
He further articulated his IKEJA agenda, vowing to harmonize it with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Agenda, ensuring the people of Ikeja Local Government benefit from democratic dividends.
The Iyaloja General later hosted the APC Ikeja campaign LOC to a sumptuous meal amidst joyous celebrations with the massive crowd that rallied with the team.
