The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), today held a strategic meeting with revenue-generating personnel as part of efforts to strengthen the council’s internally generated revenue.
The session focused on reviewing current revenue performance, identifying and plugging leakages, and developing practical strategies to enhance revenue collection. Chairman AKOD stressed the importance of transparency, accountability, and strict compliance with due process in all revenue operations.
Responding, the revenue officers reaffirmed their commitment to improved performance, pledging to carry out their duties in line with legal and ethical standards.
The meeting was attended by key management officials, including the Council Manager, Mrs. Taiwo Juliana Odubeko, the Council Treasurer, Director of Legal Services, Area Officers, and Heads of Departments.
