The Executive Chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Olalekan Olu Akindipe, has issued a strong warning to traders and members of the Ojora Market Association over the persistent indiscriminate dumping of refuse along Boundary Road.

Speaking during a meeting with market leaders, Hon. Akindipe expressed displeasure over the growing environmental abuse in the area and cautioned that anyone caught violating the regulations would face legal sanctions.

He appealed to the market community to prioritise cleanliness, stressing that a healthy and well-kept environment is essential for public safety and the smooth running of commercial activities.

The Chairman also addressed the conduct of Okada riders and motor park operators, urging them to desist from parking indiscriminately on the road—a practice he said continues to fuel traffic congestion along the Boundary axis.

Hon. Akindipe reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promoting a cleaner, safer and more orderly Ajeromi-Ifelodun for residents and businesses.
