First Lady of Nigeria, Mrs. Aisha Buhari has penned a special tribute in honour of former Southwest Zonal National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, late Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson who died on Sunday 17th July 2022.
The wife of the President in her tribute message said “I received with sadness the news of passing away of Mrs. Kemi Nelson”.
“The late Kemi my Associate, A pioneer Zonal Women Leader of Southwest in APC, she was a dogged fighter for women participation in Politics’’.
“I recall with nostalgia how we toured most of the States in Nigeria during the campaign for 2015 General Elections. Late Kemi Nelson made an enormous contribution to the stability of our political party and its emergence and victory”.
“I offer my condolences to her family, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and to the people and Governor of Lagos State and the entire Southwest APC Women over this huge loss and pray that her soul finds eternal rest, Ameen” Aisha Muhammadu Buhari concluded.
