Good governance advocate and frontline aspirant in the forthcoming Local Government election in Ikeja Chairmanship race, Mr. Abisola Omisore received a rousing welcome at the venue of the All Progressives Congress (APC) LGA meeting yesterday.
In a bid to strategically
position the party to win the coming 2025 Lagos State Local Government elections convincingly, the APC chapter in the state directed all the LGA chapters to convene a general meeting yesterday, 30th January across the state simultaneously.
The Ikeja chapter of APC held their meeting at Tokunbo Alli Primary School on John Olugbo Street under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Adekunle Dally-Adeokun and other party leaders.
Arriving at the venue with his entourage, Hon. Abiola Omisore was received warmly into the meeting by enthusiastic party men and women who were excited to see him at the gathering.
After humbly exchanging pleasantries with the party LGA Chairman and other leaders, Omisore, whose colorful banner mounted at the venue’s enterance welcomed party members to meeting, , took his seat and participated fully in the deliberations of the evening.
Speaking at the end of the meeting, the vibrant and youthful aspirant described the outcome of the meeting as “fruitful and insightful.”
He also commended the party leaders, especially “the state Party Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelade; the Ikeja LGA APC Chairman, Alhaji Adekunle Dally-Adeokun and other leaders for organizing such a meeting at this crucial time, stating that it would help to instill more discipline in the Party and boost it’s chances of recording a comprehensive Victory during the coming elections.” Omisore said.
