Iba LCDA Council Boss, Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (ABILA), Members of Management Team and staff, began the new year with the usual Monthly prayer as organized by the National Union of Local Government Employee’s {NULGE-Iba LCDA) ably led by Comr. Sewanu Bose Keshinro, the NULGE numero uno of the Council.
As believed and constantly demonstrated by the different religious groups amongst the members of staff in Iba LCDA, Prayer is a surge of the heart, it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy.
In lieu of this, the double prayer session took place amidst the Islamic and Christian bodies of the Members of staff.
After the Cosmic prayer session, The Council Mayor gave his remarks to the outstanding and ever committed staff of our dear Local Council.
While speaking, The Council Boss Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (ABILA) statesld that, “I sincerely appreciate all your efforts and unflinching support through the last year, I believe that it is impossible to grasp all the different forms of prayer without great purity of heart and soul. There are as many forms of prayer as there are states of soul, we pray in a certain manner when cheerful and in another when weighed down by sadness or a sense of hopelessness, I appreciate you all for putting up this prayer session, When we are flourishing spiritually, prayer is different from when one is oppressed by the extent of one’s struggles, this is a path i really cherish because i understand the efficacy of prayer”
He admonished the Members of Staff on their steadfastness and commitment towards duties, particularly revenue collection so as to enhance more development for the Local Council as seen in the last couples of months.
He concluded with thanks as he anticipated for a more productive work force in collaboration ahead from the industrious and ever committed members of staff of our dear Local Council (Iba LCDA).
