Ojodu LCDA Chairman, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku today received the Association of Market Women and Men (ANMKWAN) Ojodu LCDA branch at the Council Secretariat. The market association members organized a rally in support of APC and its candidates visited in a show of solidarity.
The market leaders led by the Iyaloja General of Ojodu LCDA, Alhaja Folashade Salako took turns to appreciate Odunmbaku for his inclusive and proactive governance and record-performances since assuming office, and also prayed that the Mayor would continue to lead the council to achieve greater strides.
In his address, Odunmbaku expressed his elation for the massive turnout was impressive and commended the market women who took time out despite commitments to organize and participate massively in the rally. He also emphasized the antecedence and importance of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential candidacy and its impact for the development of Lagos and Nigeria.
“I commend our market women and men for your support and readiness to ensure victory in the forthcoming general election. Walking over Five Kilometers is no mean feat, it shows the women’s commitment to the triumph of our Presidential Candidate (Asiwaju Bola Tinubu), Governor (Babajide Sanwo-Olu), Senate (HE Idiat Adebule), House of Representatives (Hon. James Faleke) and House of Assembly (Hon. Richard Kasumu)” Odunmbaku said.
He also reassured of his administration’s commitment to doing more for the growth and development of the association and the good people of Ojodu LCDA in general.
Present at the occasion were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, Leader of the House, Hon. Opeyemi Apatira and SLG, Hon. Olaide John Bello and other Executive and Legislative members.
