Odunmbaku mourns death of GAC member, Kemi Nelson

The Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Executive Chairman, Mr David Olusegun Odunmbaku, mourn the death of a  political leader, an active member of Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), late Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson who died on Sunday at the age of 66.

The Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Executive Chairman, Mr David Olusegun Odunmbaku, mourn the death of a  political leader, an active member of Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), late Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson who died on Sunday at the age of 66.

Odunmbaku, in a statement said Nelson died when her leadership role was needed most.

“I was heartbroken when I heard the news of her death. This is when her leadership role is needed most. She brought joy, happiness and laughter to all who met her; An affectionate person, full of life. I pray that her soul rest in peace. We will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always,” He said in a tribute message.

He prayed for God’s enough strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss, and for the departed soul to rest in peace.

Late Kemi Nelson served as All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader and until her death also served as the Executive Director of the Nigerian Insurance Social Trust Fund (NSTIF).
