In a letter of appreciation, Senatorial Aspirant in the just concluded Lagos Central Senatorial District primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Akeem Abiodun Apatira has conceded defeat and congratulated the winner, Rt. Hon. Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun.
Eshinlokun, who is the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, emerged as the winner of the election held today.
Apatira promised to work for the victory of APC in the general election, just as he also congratulated other aspirants that participated in the process.

This is to express my Sincere and Heartfelt Appreciation to the leadership and members of our great party for your support most importantly all the delegates and my teeming supporters who stood by me in the battle we just lost but glad we all gave it a good trial.
Can’t write my history without your names being mentioned as having played a major role in this uphill task to represent the good people of Lagos Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
He who fights and run, lives to fight another day. We will try again next time putting to bear the requisite experience garnered through the cause of this movement. God bless you all and replenish yours bountifully.
Lastly, I will like to congratulate my brothers and co-contestants, Rt. Hon. Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun on his victory at the just concluded primaries and also Ambassador Ademola Seriki and Hon. Oyinlomo Danmole for putting up a good contest, we shall collectively work towards the victory of our dear party at all levels at the 2023 General Elections.
