…Commends the LG Chairman on facility on ground but craves for an improvement.

Customary Court judicial system is an arbiter of disputes in local setting for peaceful and social coexistence among the citizens.

This was the assertion of the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon.Rasulu Olusola Idowu(Mr.Project) during the oversight visit of the Lagos State House Assembly Judiciary Committee to Ojo Local Government Customary Court, Ojo.

The LG. Boss pledged to always give necessary support to the Customary Court as the last hope of the people, noting that the administration of justice could only be done in a conducive environment.

Earlier, in his own remark, the Chairman of Judiciary Committee, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Victor Akande expressed satisfaction on the facility on ground but advised the Executive Chairman to improve on the structure and environment, adding that the Judiciary Committee is readily available to assist in area of bye-laws among others.

The Chairman Judiciary Committee and Members thereafter inspected the Court facility. Other members on the entourage were, Hon.Jude Idimogun, Hon.Olawale Subair and Hon.Ajani Owolabi.

The occasion was also witnessed by the Council Manager, Mrs.Esther Ajose, Human Resource Officer, Mr. Adedokun Oyinlola, Head, Legal Unit, Barrister Olubode Savage,Head, Public Affairs, Mr.Leke Odunfa and Customary Court President, Mrs.Gladys Oluwafumilayo David.
