The Executive Chairman, IRU/Victoria Island LCDA, Hon. Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu joined the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwolu at the Commissioning of, Idowu Taylor, Adeola Hopewell and Afribank-Churchgate roads in IRU/Victoria Island LCDA yesterday.
Giving her goodwill message at the event, the Chairman said, “On behalf of the executive, legislative arm, Management, staff and the people of IRU/VI, I welcome the best Governor with tremendous projects, His Excellency, Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu to the most cooperate LCDA in Lagos state.
“We sincerely appreciate the unrelenting support and concern of our inestimable Governor in IRU/VI LCDA, thank you so much, Sir, these laudable projects are indeed worthwhile and it is of great advantage to the residents and commercials. Thank you very much, Sir, may Almighty God continue to strengthen you, as you strive hard to achieve a Greater Lagos.”
“In addition, the zeal to make Lagos state the 21st century is a major goal of His Excellency, Gov. Sanwo-Olu and we’ve been able to complement his work with viable projects in the infrastructure sector which includes; Reconstruction of Samuel Adedoyin Street, Reconstruction of Olosa street, Reconstruction of Balarabe Musa with two sides drainages and street light powered by 20kv generator, Reconstruction of Jubril Martins amidst others and the ongoing reconstruction of Erelu Aishat. Chairman added”.
“I hereby urge our esteem residents to take ownership of the roads and ensure proper usage of the roads. Our administration will not relent in developmental continuity, all hands are on deck to ensure maximum dividends of democracy as the administration continues” she averred.
