Till date, 213818 cases have been confirmed, 207016 cases have been discharged and 2974 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 141 new cases are reported from 12 States- Lagos (46), Benue (44), FCT (15), Kastina (12), Bauchi (9), Kano (4), Delta (3), Enugu (2), Kwara (2), Rivers (2), Gombe (1) and Plateau (1)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities

17.5 million Nigerians vaccinated against COVID-19, says NPHCDA

Over 17.5 million Nigerians have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccines, according to the National daily call-in data from the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA). The Agency revealed that as of January 14, 2022, 12,559,347 of the total eligible persons targeted for COVID-19 vaccination were reached with the first dose, while 4,967,233 were reached with the second dose (fully vaccinated). In total, 17,526,580 persons have been vaccinated with at least one dose of the lifesaving COVID-19 vaccine.
