Pledges unflinching commitment to delivering on campaign promises
Accordingly, seventy two(72) and fifty (50) businesses were happy beneficiaries of various working tools and cash grants yesterday, Tuesday 23rd November, 2021 as the Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Honourable Samson Folorunso Olatunde marked one hundred (100) days in office in remarkable style.
The event which was held within the Council Secretariat premises also saw the indefatigable Council Mayor commission a newly built Executive building that is set to usher in a new era of administrative efficiency in the Council.
Gracing the occasion were top APC Chieftains, Chief Sunny Akinsanya Ajose (OON), Deputy State Chairman of APC-Lagos State (Chief Guest of Honor) and Prince Adio Rabiu Oluwa, GAC Member, APC-Lagos State (Chairman of the day).
In his speech, Chief Sunny Ajose hailed Hon. Olatunde as an exemplary administrator who has proven to be exceptional and outstanding in delivering dividends of democracy to his people. Prince Rabiu Oluwa on the other hand spoke in glowing terms of the Council Mayor’s sterling performance in office. He however, charged beneficiaries of the working tools to make resourceful use of the tools as opposed to selling them off for cheap and selfish gains.
In a brief chat with the media, Hon. Olatunde spoke about the uniqueness of Olorunda as a terrain. He emphasised how the policies of his administration are shaped by dynamics that are peculiar to the Council and the role of the new Executive building in the administration’s projections for the Council.
“The challenges facing our people are quite unique. Our policies are shaped by these challenges and have birthed the road map we have created to address the needs of our people. This Executive building is a fundamental part of our projections regarding boosting administrative efficiency further”
He concluded by restating his unflinching commitment to quality stewardship and delivering on campaign promises.

-Grinding machines
-Pop corn machines
-Make up tools
-Washing macines etc.
Other dignitaries at the event were; The Wife of the Council Mayor, Mrs Oluwakemi Olatunde, Hon. Setonji David, LAHA, Badagry Constituency II, Alhaji (Prince) Ade Balogun, APC-LGA Chairman, Olorunda LCDA, Core Leaders across the Wards of the LCDA and a host of others.
