On the 23rd of July 2021, 317 new confirmed cases and one death were recorded in Nigeria

Till date, 170623 cases have been confirmed, 164780 cases have been discharged and 2131 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 317 new cases are reported from 11 states- Lagos (172), Akwa Ibom (62), Oyo (33), Rivers (32), Ekiti (5), FCT (5), Ogun (3), Sokoto (2), Bayelsa (1), Gombe (1) and Kano(1)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
