Chidinma Ojukwu, the alleged killer of the CEO of Super TV, Micheal Ataga has made a U-turn on some of the statements she made some weeks ago.

In an interview with Crime Fighters, she has revealed that she has nothing to do with the death of Michael Ataga because she wasn’t in the apartment when he died.

She explained that they truthfully met on that day and went to eat before going to the apartment but she wasn’t the one who killed him.

Recall that Ataga’s remain was found days after checking into an apartment with the suspect in Lekki, Lagos.

It was gathered that the suspect fled the scene of the crime until the Lagos State police arrested her at her father’s house in Yaba, Lagos.

In her statements in a video making rounds, she noted that someone must have broken into the apartment to kill the businessman.

The suspect while been paraded by the police disclosed that she killed him while he was trying to force himself on her.

She also sought forgiveness from the family of Usifo and pleaded that she does not want to die.

“I regret killing Mr. Ataga. I don’t know what my future holds but I don’t want to die. Please, I don’t want to die because of this case. I have not killed before.”

“I totally regret everything I did and I am sorry. Mr Ataga’s family, I am deeply sorry for what I did. If I had my life back, I wouldn’t do anything like that. I am deeply sorry and I hope you forgive me,” Chidinma had said at the time.

But in the video which is currently in circulation, Chidinma said she knows nothing about Ataga’s death.

“I didn’t injure anybody. I don’t know who must have come into the apartment, and did that… I don’t know who that person is. I don’t know what happened. I did not kill him,” the suspect said.
