The embattled actor James Omiyinka popularly known as Baba Ijesha, who is under investigation by the Lagos State Police Command for alleged sexual assault of a minor will be arraigned at the Magistrate Court 1, Yaba, today Wednesday, by 9am.
This information was made to known to Lagos Panorama by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
Chief Magistrate Oluwatoyin Oghre granted Baba Ijesha bail on May 17 on health grounds.
Ijesha however remain in police custody due to his inability to meet his bail conditions which include, two relatives, one civil servant of grade 16, and a refundable sum of N500,000 to be paid into the Lagos High court account.
The comic actor has been detained close to two months without arraignment due to the recently suspended strike by the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).
